Two-story contemporary style house plans up to 2,150 sq. ft. with carport and terrace

Plan the two-story house in a modern style, combining two parts, one with a single-pitch roof and a gable roof. The garage awning is simultaneously a second-floor terrace—the house's facade with a combination of white stucco and gray vertical siding.

Ground Floor of Modern House
The entrance to the house is from the corner of the building where the carport is located. To the right of the entrance, the large second-light living room is separated from the dining room by a short partition, a bookcase. The living room is a couple of steps below the rest of the rooms. At the edge of the living room is a staircase to the second floor, and next to it is an exit to the terrace at the side of the house.

Behind the partition is the dining room, and behind it is the kitchen with a kitchen island. From the kitchen, you can exit to the utility room or guest toilet. There is also a back exit to the parking area. In the right wing of the house is the master bedroom with a walk-in closet and bath.

Second floor modern home
The second floor has a loft enclosed by a glass parapet, forming a balcony over the living room. Walking across the balcony leads to the terrace above the garage. Canopy beams enclose the terrace. There are also two bedrooms, separated by a bathroom. The bathroom can only be accessed from one of the bedrooms. The windows of the bedrooms and bathroom overlook the backyard.

For the walls, used wood frame thickness of 396". The thermal resistance of the walls is 2.64 K×m2/W, so this house project is suitable for warm climates or cold ones but with additional insulation. For the finishing of the facade, siding is used, stucco.
This house has a single-pitch roof and gable roof, for the construction of which boards are used—the angle of slope of the main roof of 10 °.
