Bungalow

(from Hindi बंगला, "Bangala") It is a building originally developed in the Bengal region of the Indian subcontinent. The Indian name of a one-story house, which came into use during the British rule in India. Such houses were traditionally small, of one story and detached, and had a wide veranda.
